During the Spring And Summer Series, all dinghies other than Merlin Rockets and Lightning 368s compete in the Handicap Class, using PY adjustments to produce corrected race times. During the shorter Winter Series, the Club Classes are welcomed back to the Handicap fleet.

Dinghies regularly competing in the Handicap Class include the Enterprise, Solo, Albacore, Gull Spirit, and Topper, but all monohull boat types are welcome.
The Enterprise is one of the more popular dinghies in the Handicap Class. To encourage more competion between the Enterprise boats, the first Sunday of each month is designated as an 'Enterprise Day'. All classes can sail as normal, but the aim is to get as many Ents afloat as possible.
